Carrie Grossman
Carrie is an outdoor educator and a graduate student at IslandWood. They first became entranced with the natural world in their formative years, when they took a trip to visit family in Northern California. A walk in the woods behind their family’s house changed her world forever. Carrie hopes to bring this same magic and wonder to their students, using it as a tool for community building. She is passionate about making outdoor education accessible to all and building learning communities where everyone belongs.
